chinese-friendship-gardenBased on the Form School of Feng Shui, the Feng Shui Garden is man’s way of bringing the larger world closer to home.

Think of it as a facsimile of nature, replicated according to the best forms of Feng Shui rules, when done right brings the household great wealth.

But to many eyes, the Chinese Garden or a Feng Shui Garden is astonishingly beautiful, and stunning in it’s pleasing architecture. When I say architecture, I don’t mean just the buildings. No, the buildings are never meant to dominate but harmonize within nature.

NOTE: A Feng Shui Garden does not necessarily mean a Chinese or Japanese Style Garden. Remember, it can be of any style. It’s only the principles that you must adhere to.

What is being done when the perfect garden is created is to create or recreate the perfection of land forms that gives the best of Feng Shui energies to the home.

Once learnt (not necessarily mastered) you can use the very practical knowledge to enhance your garden, hence enhancing your very home.

Once understood, you can easily apply the landforms around your home to your everyday lives.

Now, the first thing in Feng Shui is to create harmonious energies to suit your lifestyle. If something might hurt you, there is a Feng Shui Cure for you to use to counter such bad energies.

For example, why do you and your family feel quarrelsome and restless when your home is very near a busy or even moderately busy intersection. You notice cars turing into your street having to point at your home at some point right? It gets more apparent at night with the headlights always flashing across the front of your house. Very annoying. That’s Shar Chi or killing energy coming at you.chinese_garden-using-rocks

So, what can you do? The “cure” is to place a huge rock or a large bush or tree at the top of your garden exactly to block the headlights would be flashing into your house. Always place them away from your house. If your garden is large, a hedge or stone wall there might be the best. Again it all depends on your budget.

The use of the form school of Feng Shui is vital in understanding this art and science. Why is it so vital? Simple answer - Feng Shui was originally derived out of the use of landforms and seasons which affects the energy from the sky and the presence of dragons and water, relating directly to the terms “Wind” & “Water”.

Imagine sitting in your own oasis of pleasure without having to take a trip to cottage country. That is what the power of a Feng Shui Garden can do for you. You want to create the Sheng Chi or the Immediately Beneficial Energy.

You’ll have pleasure, peace, harmony and that, as they say, is priceless.
